CoreWeave, a provider of AI cloud and GPU infrastructure, has entered the Indian market through a partnership with AdaniConneX. The company will utilize 240 megawatts of capacity at the Taloja data center facility located in Navi Mumbai. The agreement includes an option to expand this capacity to 480 megawatts in the future.

The partnership, announced on October 7, 2026, represents the first data center project for CoreWeave in India. AdaniConneX, a joint venture between the Adani Group and EdgeConneX, expects the initial facility to become operational by mid-2028. This deal is part of a multi-year collaboration between the two entities.

While the specific financial contributions of each party remain undisclosed, the project is projected to involve investments totaling several billion dollars. CoreWeave, which is listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker CRWV, has previously focused its infrastructure expansion primarily within the United States.

AdaniConneX maintains a broader objective to develop a total of 3 gigawatts of data center capacity across India by 2030. This expansion into the Indian market marks a significant shift for CoreWeave, which has historically concentrated its large-scale AI workload hosting operations on American soil.
