CoreWeave CEO Mike Intrator has addressed market concerns following a significant decline in the company's financial instruments. On October 14, 2026, CoreWeave shares (CRWV) dropped by approximately 15–16%, closing in the range of $65 to $66 per share.
The company's unsecured bonds due 2032 are currently trading below 80 cents on the dollar, with yields rising to between 14.5% and 14.9%. Market participants have expressed concerns regarding the high capital expenditure in AI infrastructure and the company's debt obligations.
In response, Intrator cited strong business fundamentals, noting a revenue backlog of $104.2 billion at the end of Q2 2026, compared to $99.4 billion in the previous quarter. Additionally, the firm secured over $25 billion in new customer commitments during Q3 2026.
CoreWeave, which transitioned from a crypto mining operation to an AI infrastructure provider, went public in March 2025 at an IPO price of $40 per share. The company continues to expand its data center capacity through a combination of debt and equity financing.
