Concora Credit has introduced a new benefit called Breathing Room to assist cardholders facing unexpected financial disruptions. The program allows eligible customers to activate three months of reduced payments and interest through an online portal.
The company does not require documentation or explanations from users to access this feature. Chief Marketing Officer Jason Tinurelli stated that the initiative aims to provide financial flexibility to consumers who are in the process of rebuilding their credit.
Concora Credit is currently monitoring the performance of the program, including enrollment rates and the subsequent recovery of participants. The firm utilizes focus groups and direct conversations to understand the daily financial pressures that lead to payment delays.
Research conducted by the company indicates that many consumers avoid communication with lenders due to embarrassment rather than an intent to default. The goal of the new benefit is to offer support before a missed payment occurs, as traditional credit metrics often fail to capture these temporary cash flow gaps.
