Cerebras Systems announced a partnership with Oracle to integrate its AI inference technology into Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. The collaboration was unveiled on October 27, 2026, at the Oracle AI World event in Las Vegas. The company plans to roll out these services in 2027.
Following the announcement, shares of Cerebras Systems (NASDAQ: CBRS) rose by approximately 9.88% to 10.1%. Closing prices for the stock were reported between $119.08 and $119.31.
Cerebras utilizes a wafer-scale engine design, which the company claims provides faster AI responses compared to traditional GPU-based systems. Oracle aims to offer this technology to AI labs, enterprises, and developers seeking low-latency inference applications.
The integration does not replace Oracle's existing partnerships. The cloud provider continues to work with Nvidia and is adding inference offerings from Google and SambaNova to its infrastructure, creating a competitive environment for customers to evaluate performance and costs.
