Centrifuge has launched its V3 infrastructure, enabling institutions to issue and manage tokenized funds across multiple blockchains without custom engineering. The system utilizes a programmable vault stack and a hub-and-spoke architecture to centralize accounting, pricing, and permissions while allowing investor access from various supported networks.
The platform currently supports 13 blockchains and has facilitated over 11,900 cross-chain transactions. As of Q3 2026, Centrifuge reported $3.5 billion in cumulative tokenized assets under management and approximately $1 billion in total value locked, with 45 tokenized assets issued within its ecosystem.
The V3.1 to V3.3 updates introduced standards including ERC-4626 and ERC-7540 to support institutional requirements like asynchronous settlement. These tools allow asset managers to maintain a single fund distribution across multiple chains, reducing the need for redundant back-office operations.
Major financial institutions are already utilizing the platform. New York Life Investment Management tokenized its US High Yield Corporate Bond Strategy in June 2026, while Janus Henderson, Apollo, and Anemoy manage various treasury and credit funds. Ethena has allocated $250 million to investments on the protocol.
