Centrifuge and Pendle Finance have launched fixed-rate markets for tokenized real-world assets on the Base blockchain. The partnership, officially announced on November 3, 2026, integrates Centrifuge’s tokenization infrastructure with Pendle’s yield-splitting mechanism. This system divides assets into principal tokens for fixed yields and yield tokens for speculative trading.
The initial product, deJAAA, is linked to the AAA collateralized loan obligation strategy managed by Janus Henderson, a firm overseeing more than $30 billion. Pendle introduced the deJAAA market on October 21, 2026, with a maturity date set for November 26, 2026. This date determines the payout period for fixed-rate positions.
Pendle has increasingly focused on traditional credit, which represented 82% of its total value locked (TVL) as of September 30, 2026. At that time, the platform's total TVL reached $1.16 billion. Centrifuge serves as a primary tokenization provider on Base, following a strategic investment and partnership agreement with Coinbase established in May 2026.
