The Miami-based startup Castle is expanding its automated financial platform to individual users. Previously, the service was available exclusively to business entities, including SaaS companies, retail businesses, and non-profits. The company decided to open access to personal accounts following repeated requests from existing business clients.
The platform offers a 12% annual yield through STRC, which is Strategy’s perpetual preferred stock. Users can choose to receive their dividend payouts in cash, bitcoin, or a combination of both. The system automatically handles the conversion based on the ratio selected by the customer at every semi-monthly payout.
Castle aims to consolidate operating cash, fixed income, and bitcoin accumulation into a single automated interface. This approach eliminates the need for users to manage multiple accounts across banks, brokerages, and crypto exchanges. The platform was founded by Stephen Cole and João Almeida.
The company is supported by investors including Boost VC and Winklevoss Capital. According to the founders, the new personal accounts utilize the same financial stack that currently manages corporate balance sheets, allowing users to automate their personal wealth management strategies.
