The next-generation BYD Han sedan has appeared in the MIIT homologation records in China. The lineup includes three battery-electric configurations and one plug-in hybrid model. The vehicles are set to be produced at BYD facilities in Xi’an and Changzhou.

The electric variants feature rear-wheel-drive options with 245 kW and 300 kW motors, as well as an all-wheel-drive version with a combined output of 520 kW. The AWD model reaches a top speed of 270 km/h, while the RWD versions are limited to 240 km/h.

The plug-in hybrid version combines a 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine with a 200 kW electric motor. The petrol engine delivers a maximum power of 115 kW. This configuration has a top speed of 200 km/h and offers an optional roof-mounted LiDAR unit.

The new sedan measures 5,156 mm in length and 1,969 mm in width, with a wheelbase of 3,030 mm. These dimensions make the model 106 mm longer than the current Han L. All electric versions are equipped with LFP Blade batteries from FinDreams Battery.

Technical specifications across all models include the Bosch Integrated Power Brake system and event data recorders. While the filing confirms motor outputs and vehicle dimensions, it does not disclose battery capacity, driving range, pricing, or official launch dates.
