BUZZHPC, a high-performance computing division of HIVE Digital Technologies, is expanding its sovereign AI infrastructure in Canada using Nvidia hardware. The company currently utilizes Hopper H100 and H200 GPUs, as well as Blackwell B200 and GB200 NVL72 systems, integrated with Quantum InfiniBand networking.
The company secured a three-year GPU cloud contract with Bell Canada in June 2026, valued at approximately $220 million. This agreement involves the deployment of 2,304 Nvidia Grace Blackwell GPUs. Additionally, a partnership announced in 2025 covers a 5 to 6.5 megawatt project in Manitoba with planned expansion into Quebec.
HIVE Digital Technologies raised $115 million via a convertible note in 2026 to scale its GPU cloud capacity. These efforts support the parent company's objective to exceed $100 million in annual recurring revenue. HIVE, originally a Bitcoin mining firm, transitioned to cloud services to meet rising AI demand.
While the company aims to solidify its status as an Nvidia Cloud Partner, reports indicate no official confirmation of the completed silicon and software integration on the platform. The Bell Canada contract represents potential revenue spread over three years rather than immediate cash inflow.
