Buildots, a startup specializing in AI-driven construction management, has secured $130 million in a late-stage funding round. This investment brings the company's total funding to $297 million. The round was led by O.G. Venture Partners, with participation from Lightspeed Venture Partners, Intel Capital, Mohari Ventures, Human Capital, Qumra Capital, Viola Growth, Poalim Equity, and Avigdor Willenz.

The company plans to utilize the new capital to scale its operations across North America and Europe. Buildots intends to extend its software capabilities to cover the entire construction lifecycle, from initial bidding to final project handover. Additionally, the firm aims to provide executives with consolidated intelligence tools for tracking multiple construction projects simultaneously.

The platform utilizes computer vision to process site video, creating digital representations that are compared against 3D models and schedules to identify delays. Buildots reports that its client base has grown to over 100 large firms, up from 50 companies 16 months ago. The company also noted a threefold annual revenue growth over the past several years.

To enhance its data analysis, Buildots recently acquired Genda Inc., a provider of construction workforce and safety management. This integration allows the company to combine labor activity data with project progress metrics. Buildots claims its competitive edge is derived from eight years of proprietary data collected directly from active construction sites.
