Bitcord is an open social platform featuring a mobile application that supports user-created streaming services. The platform allows developers to integrate custom audio services via its API by setting up a streaming server and configuring a bot account.

To implement the streaming service, developers must use the HLS protocol. Since HLS natively supports video, audio files must be converted into an MP4 container using FFmpeg. The Nginx web server, combined with the Kaltura nginx-vod-module, handles the streaming by segmenting media files in real-time within the system's RAM.

Integration with Bitcord is achieved by enabling the 'Enable server bot' option in the profile settings. Developers must provide the server address and a Bearer token for security. The bot interacts with users through a button-based interface, with logic managed by a PHP script that processes requests and returns responses in JSON format.

The platform supports optional monetization, allowing users to set a 'Cost of service' parameter for their bots, enabling paid access to music collections via cryptocurrency. The Bitcord application includes a Foreground Service to maintain device activity during playback.
