Broadridge Financial Solutions, a major provider of trade processing and proxy voting services, has launched its DLX tokenization engine on September 9. The platform facilitates the trading, settlement, and governance of both traditional and digital assets, allowing firms to integrate blockchain-based securities without replacing existing infrastructure.
The company's Distributed Ledger Repo solution currently processes over $351 billion in daily transactions, with monthly volumes reaching approximately $8 trillion in previous periods. Broadridge has partnered with Ondo Finance to provide regulated tokenized US equities and is collaborating with Galaxy Digital on equity issuance and custody services.
On September 14, Broadridge expanded its US wealth management platform to include support for cryptocurrencies and tokenized securities for broker-dealers and investment advisors. This functionality, previously limited to the Canadian market, enables institutional clients to access digital assets through familiar systems.
Beyond tokenization, the firm is integrating generative and agentic AI tools into its workflows. These implementations aim to reduce client costs and improve productivity by up to 30%. According to the company's 2026 Digital Transformation study, 80% of financial firms now utilize generative or predictive AI in their operations.
