Bridge Data Centres, a Singapore-based operator majority-owned by Bain Capital, is negotiating an increase in its loan facility to $6 billion. The company aims to reach a total regional capacity of approximately 2 gigawatts by 2030.
This new financing follows a $2.8 billion senior secured bank loan finalized in March 2025, which focused on expansion in Malaysia and Thailand. A significant portion of the funds is earmarked for the QHI01 campus in Thailand, a project with a planned capacity of 200 megawatts and an estimated cost of $1.2 billion.
The current loan structure features a 12-month tenor. Additionally, the company plans to invest between SGD 3 billion and SGD 5 billion in digital infrastructure within Singapore. Bridge Data Centres currently maintains a development pipeline exceeding 1.5 gigawatts across India, Malaysia, and Thailand.
