BotMan AI has introduced a migration pipeline that utilizes knowledge graphs to modernize legacy software systems. By mapping application dependencies, business logic, and data models, the platform enables AI agents to understand the context of the systems they are tasked to rebuild.

According to founder and CTO Alejandro D’Andrea, the approach focuses on re-architecting entire systems rather than simple code translation. The platform supports the migration of legacy code bases, including Delphi, Visual Basic, and Oracle Forms, into modern architectures through autonomous processes.

The use of knowledge graphs allows for the creation of reusable business context for AI agents. By linking unstructured information to specific entities such as people, projects, or products, the system ensures that agents can automatically identify relevant connections across documents and messages.

This entity-based linking reduces the discovery work required for future queries. Once relationships are established within the graph, any agent assigned to a task can access the pre-existing context, ensuring that information remains consistent and accessible throughout the development lifecycle.
