BMW has unveiled the eighth generation of its 3 Series, debuting with the M350 xDrive model. This new version replaces the outgoing M340i xDrive. The vehicle features a redesigned exterior with a darkened grille, larger air intakes, and a new rear diffuser. The dimensions for the 330, 330 xDrive, and M350 xDrive models are 4754 by 1849 by 1455 millimeters, utilizing an updated CLAR architecture.

The interior design now mirrors the brand's latest electric vehicles. Key features include a 17.9-inch curved infotainment screen, the BMW iDrive system, and an optional 3D head-up display. The M350 xDrive variant is equipped with M Sport seats featuring enhanced lateral support. Additionally, the cabin includes updated materials, a redesigned dashboard, and new ambient lighting configurations.

The M350 xDrive is powered by a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine integrated with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system. It delivers 437 horsepower and 580 Nm of torque. Paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive, the car accelerates to 96 km/h in 3.9 seconds. The top speed is limited to 209 km/h, though it increases to 250 km/h with optional performance tires.

The 330 and 330 xDrive models utilize a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine producing 255 horsepower and 400 Nm of torque. BMW has also upgraded the chassis, introducing a double-wishbone front suspension and a wider track. The M350 xDrive comes standard with an adaptive M Sport suspension. A dedicated drift mode, which shifts power to the rear wheels, will arrive via an OTA update next year.
