BMW has introduced a loyalty incentive for the upcoming iX5 electric SUV, offering a $1,000 credit for returning customers. This discount applies to buyers or lessees who have owned or leased a BMW vehicle within the previous 12 months. The offer can be combined with other promotions and does not require a trade-in.

The iX5, which is the first fully electric version of the X5 model, is scheduled to launch in the US in the first quarter of 2027 with a starting price of $79,800. Production of the vehicle will take place at the Spartanburg plant in South Carolina, marking it as the first all-electric BMW model manufactured in the United States.

The vehicle features the sixth-generation eDrive system and a 144 kWh battery, providing an estimated range of up to 435 miles. During testing, the iX5 60 xDrive reached a peak charging speed of 464 kW. The dual-motor powertrain delivers 578 hp and 593 lb-ft of torque, allowing acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in 4.4 seconds.

The interior of the iX5 utilizes the Neue Klasse design, including a 17.9-inch central touchscreen and the BMW Panoramic Vision display. The SUV measures 197.2 inches in length, 78.7 inches in width, and 68.9 inches in height. It is capable of towing up to 6,000 lbs.
