Blue Origin has invested over $3 billion in Florida, employing more than 5,000 people and working with 500 local suppliers. The company currently operates across 20 sites in two counties, with production volumes doubling over the last two years.
The company is investing $330 million to expand its Rocket Park facility near the Kennedy Space Center. This expansion, scheduled for completion by next summer, will enable the production of up to 150 upper stages for the New Glenn 9x4 rocket annually.
Blue Origin aims to increase launch frequency from the LC-36 complex to 50 missions per year, up from the current 12. The company is currently building the LC-36B launch pad and restoring the LC-36A site following a May 2026 testing accident.
To support recovery operations, the company utilizes the Jacklyn sea platform at Port Canaveral and plans to construct two additional platforms. These facilities will allow for the processing and refurbishment of returned rocket stages.
