Bitdeer Technologies sold 1,506 Bitcoin in August, generating approximately $105 million. This move aligns with the company's zero-treasury policy, which was implemented in February 2026. As a result of these ongoing sales, the company's Bitcoin reserves decreased from 257 BTC at the start of the month to 61 BTC by the end of August.
The company mined 1,310 BTC in August, representing a 249% year-over-year increase compared to 375 BTC in the same period last year. The self-mining hash rate reached approximately 79.9 EH/s. Bitdeer continues to sell its newly mined assets on a weekly basis, including 273.5 BTC sold during the final week of August alone.
Bitdeer is redirecting capital toward AI cloud infrastructure and high-performance computing. The company's AI cloud business reported an annualized recurring revenue of $86 million in August, up from $76 million in July. This represents a 13% month-over-month growth.
A key component of this strategic shift is a 16-year lease agreement in Norway. The contract is valued at $4.7 billion, with the possibility of scaling to $8 billion based on future expansion milestones.
