Bitdeer Technologies Group has secured a 10-year AI cloud agreement in Malaysia, projected to generate $1,1 billion in annual revenue. The total value of this contract is estimated at $6 billion, contributing to a broader AI cloud pipeline that exceeds $7 billion.
The company operates infrastructure in Johor and Cyberjaya. Its 9,5MW A102 data center is fully committed and expected to generate over $800 million in revenue within five years. A specific five-year contract for half of this facility's capacity, valued at $400 million, will commence in the first quarter of 2027.
Additionally, Bitdeer signed a 10-year lease for 21,7MW of capacity in Johor Bahru to host 128 NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems. The firm, founded by former Bitmain CEO Jihan Wu, holds the status of a preferred NVIDIA Cloud Partner and trades on Nasdaq under the ticker BTDR.
Bitdeer aims to reach a global AI cloud capacity of up to 350MW by the first quarter of 2028. While the company originated as a Bitcoin mining operation, it is now shifting toward a hybrid business model that integrates cloud infrastructure through its dedicated Bitdeer AI division.
