US spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds experienced a significant shift in investor sentiment on Thursday, recording net outflows of $635 million. This movement effectively reversed the previous three-day inflow streak, which had accumulated $1.08 billion in total investments.
According to data from SoSoValue, this single-day withdrawal represents the largest decline since June 25, when funds saw outflows of $696 million. Consequently, the net flows for October have moved into negative territory, totaling $175 million in outflows for the month to date.
Despite the recent downturn, Bitcoin ETFs maintained weekly net inflows of $443 million. The price of Bitcoin fluctuated between $80,996 and $82,551 during the day, marking a decline from the Wednesday intraday high of $84,777.
Other cryptocurrency-based ETFs also faced pressure on Thursday. Ether ETFs reported net outflows of approximately $111 million, while Solana and Hyperliquid ETFs saw outflows of $9 million and $8 million, respectively. Conversely, XRP ETFs bucked the trend, attracting $3.6 million in inflows.
