US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net inflows of approximately $525 million on October 21, marking the largest single-day increase in nearly a month. This performance concludes a three-day period during which these funds attracted between $1.07 billion and $1.08 billion in total.
BlackRock’s IBIT fund led the activity with $235 million in inflows, followed by Fidelity’s FBTC with $213 million. These two products accounted for $448 million of the total daily volume. These gains helped shift October’s cumulative net flows back into positive territory at approximately $460 million, recovering from an earlier two-week outflow period of nearly $910 million.
Ethereum ETFs saw a net inflow of $14 million on October 21, ending a five-session streak of outflows that had previously resulted in $200 million in redemptions. Within this category, Grayscale’s ETH staking mini-trust attracted $28 million, while Fidelity’s FETH added $13 million. Other funds experienced offsetting redemptions.
Despite the capital influx into Bitcoin ETFs, the price of Bitcoin declined during the session, trading between $81,500 and $84,800. Market participants are currently adjusting positions in anticipation of upcoming economic events, including meetings of the Federal Reserve.
