On September 9, US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded net outflows of $120.2 million, marking two consecutive days of redemptions. The ARK 21Shares ARKB fund saw $78 million in outflows, while Grayscale GBTC lost $27.2 million. Over the two-day period ending September 9, total Bitcoin ETF outflows reached $166.8 million.
Despite the recent daily decline, Bitcoin ETFs saw net inflows of approximately $820 million over the trailing seven days. For comparison, September 3 alone saw an inflow of $730.9 million. Since their inception in the US, these funds have accumulated roughly $55 billion in total net inflows.
In contrast to Bitcoin, Ethereum ETFs attracted $34.75 million in net inflows on September 9. The ETHB product from BlackRock, which includes staking capabilities, accounted for $22.94 million of that total.
For the 2026 calendar year to date, Bitcoin ETFs have experienced net outflows totaling approximately $1.07 billion. This indicates that investors have been net sellers throughout the year, despite periods of significant weekly inflows.
