The BI.Zone Mail Security 3.0 update introduces advanced filtering methods to detect email threats. The system now assigns risk scores to password-protected archives that cannot be unpacked and identifies mass spam campaigns by comparing message content for minor variations.

Administrative tasks have been streamlined with new bulk management features. Administrators can now enable, disable, or delete rules in batches and download quick rules collectively. The updated message log displays full details in a side panel, supports bulk actions, and includes a new context menu.

Security enhancements include a CAPTCHA mechanism to prevent automated password brute-force attacks. Additionally, the system now integrates with SIEM and monitoring tools via Syslog for user activity logs. A new events section provides notifications, including reminders for license expiration at 14, 7, and 1 day intervals.

According to BI.Zone, phishing accounted for 90% of illegitimate email traffic in the first half of 2026. To combat this, version 3.0 allows administrators to incorporate SPF and DKIM verification results directly into delivery rule configurations, improving the accuracy of legitimate message filtering.
