Baikal Electronics has integrated an AI assistant into its technical documentation and SDK portal for the Baikal-U (BE-U1000) microcontroller. The tool functions as a centralized knowledge base, allowing users to query technical information using natural language.

The assistant searches across manuals, register descriptions, SDK guides, and code examples to provide direct answers rather than simple link lists. It cites the specific documentation sections where the information is located, aiming to reduce search time from minutes to seconds.

Available 24/7, the service is designed to assist both novice developers and experienced engineers. According to CEO Andrey Evdokimov, the tool aims to accelerate product development cycles and lower entry barriers for independent developers and small teams working with the platform.

This initiative follows the company's strategy of providing open access to its technical documentation. By automating support queries, the company intends to reduce the workload on its technical support team while fostering a broader ecosystem of solutions based on its domestic hardware.
