AvtoVAZ has disclosed details regarding the durability testing of the Lada Azimut crossover body and its paintwork. The vehicle components underwent rigorous stress tests to simulate harsh environmental conditions, including exposure to intense sunlight, high temperatures, and chemical agents.
Engineers utilized specialized climate chambers to replicate various weather scenarios and conduct repeated cycles of environmental stress. A significant portion of the testing focused on the vehicle's resistance to road salts and anti-icing chemicals, which are common during winter driving in Russia.
The Lada Azimut features a new paint developed domestically. The testing program specifically evaluated this coating's resilience against prolonged exposure to heat and UV radiation. Additionally, the surfaces were subjected to simulated acid rain to ensure chemical stability.
According to the manufacturer, the new Russian-made paint successfully passed all conducted tests. These evaluations are part of the comprehensive preparation process to ensure the crossover is suitable for operation across diverse Russian road and climate conditions.
