Avito Auto has updated its Avito Otsenka service, which uses AI algorithms to compare used car prices against market data. The system now categorizes vehicle pricing into five levels, ranging from significantly below market to above market, helping users identify potential risks or value.

The updated service analyzes approximately 40 parameters, leveraging data from about 200,000 real transactions and 6 million active listings. By identifying factors such as accident history, car-sharing usage, or rare configurations, the tool provides context for price deviations.

A new market price filter has been added to the search interface, allowing users to exclude listings with inflated or unusually low prices. This feature aims to streamline the search process for buyers navigating an increasingly complex secondary market.

According to company data, 28% of users consider market price alignment when selecting a vehicle. Listings that fall within the market price range receive 7% more calls, highlighting the importance of transparent pricing benchmarks for consumers.
