Avatr has released the AVATR. OS 6.1.0 update for its vehicle infotainment systems, which began rolling out on October 23. The update introduces a range of new features including an interactive digital pet named Taco, AI-generated wallpaper capabilities, and a dedicated game center.

Safety and convenience enhancements include an automatic emergency braking system for irregular obstacles and a 'stay powered' mode that keeps systems active while the driver is briefly away from the vehicle. Users can now also remotely trigger battery preheating to improve charging efficiency during winter.

Navigation improvements feature dual-map switching between Baidu Maps and lane-level navigation, alongside categorized search options for charging stations and service areas. The update also adds a group travel function for real-time location sharing and smart navigation to available charging spots.

Hardware integration is expanded with support for the 'Smart Knob' accessory, allowing control over media, climate, and seat settings. Additionally, the Sentry mode now supports manual light and sound alerts, while the dashboard display adds new clock styles and a dedicated pet interface.
