Alibaba Group subsidiary AutoNavi has launched ABot-Earth 0.7, a 3D native urban world model. The system covers over 196 countries and regions, allowing for continuous exploration and real-time interaction within a digital twin environment.

Unlike traditional methods that rely on stitching satellite imagery and point clouds, ABot-Earth 0.7 uses spatial and temporal data to generate 3D Gaussian Splatting scenes. The model creates full-scale environments ranging from planetary views down to street-level details.

The technology enables the generation of kilometer-scale 3D urban scenes in 10 minutes using a consumer-grade GPU. This represents a 1000-fold increase in efficiency compared to conventional modeling processes.

The model maintains structural consistency across different scales, from city layouts to individual building textures. Users can navigate these environments through the updated Flight Street View 2.0 feature, which is now available for complex buildings and large scenic areas.
