Following a brake pedal failure incident involving the Zunjie V800 during a media test, several automotive executives have publicly detailed their safety standards. Brands including Lantu, GAC Honda, M-Hero, and Yangwang have released information regarding the materials and structural integrity of their braking systems.

Lu Fang, Chairman of Lantu, highlighted the use of multi-layer high-strength steel beams in their pedal assemblies. He noted that the choice between steel and plastic materials is secondary to overall design performance. Meanwhile, GAC Honda Vice General Manager Lin Zhibin stated that the Accord's steel pedals are tested to withstand forces exceeding 3000 Newtons without fracturing.

M-Hero CEO Wan Liangyu reported that their vehicle pedals use reinforced materials designed for extreme off-road and racing conditions, exceeding national safety standards. Yangwang, a BYD brand, confirmed that the U8, U8L, and U7 models feature metal pedal assemblies, adhering to an internal corporate standard of 2500 Newtons of force.

Zunjie has committed to optimizing the design of its brake pedal components. The company is offering a free upgrade program for customers who have already taken delivery of their vehicles to address concerns regarding the structural integrity of the part.
