Asus has introduced the ROG ZOOM Category 8 Ethernet cable, designed to complement its high-end networking hardware. The product is available in two lengths: a 1.5-meter version priced at ¥299 and a 3-meter version costing ¥399.

The cable supports a transmission bandwidth of 40Gbps and a carrier frequency of 2000MHz. According to the manufacturer, this represents a fourfold increase in bandwidth compared to standard Category 7 cables, which offer 10Gbps and 600MHz respectively.

The construction features an E/STP dual-shielding design to minimize crosstalk and a high-density braided outer jacket for durability. The internal wiring uses 26AWG oxygen-free copper to reduce signal loss over distance, while the connectors are equipped with gold-plated copper shells to improve interference resistance and oxidation protection.
