ASUS has introduced a new 64 GB version of its Ascent GX10 compact AI supercomputer. This addition complements the existing 128 GB model, aiming to provide developers and researchers with more options for local agentic AI development.
The system is built on the NVIDIA DGX Spark platform and utilizes the full NVIDIA AI software stack. It maintains the same petaflop-scale architecture as the 128 GB variant, specifically optimized to handle 30-35B class models and autonomous agents.
For users requiring higher performance, the system supports clustering. By using the NVIDIA Sync Cluster Assistant, two units can be combined to achieve 128 GB of pooled memory and approximately 1.7 times the throughput of a single system.
