Astra Group has released ACM version 1.7, which introduces support for managing computers running Microsoft Windows. This update allows administrators to monitor and manage Windows-based devices alongside existing Linux-based systems within a single console.
The new version replaces static profiles with flexible scenarios. These scenarios consist of customizable sequences of actions, such as software installation or script execution, which can be applied across different operating systems including Astra Linux, ALT Linux, RedOS, Debian, Ubuntu, Fedora, and Alma Linux.
ACM 1.7 adds a user inventory feature, enabling administrators to create dynamic device collections based on assigned users. This functionality simplifies software deployment and device tracking for specific employees within an organization.
Security has been enhanced by transitioning internal service communication to the HTTPS protocol. Additionally, the system continues to support profile-based OS installation for bare-metal hardware.
