Ark Invest has expanded its position in Circle Internet Group, the issuer of the USDC stablecoin, by acquiring 65,615 shares for $5.2 million. This transaction follows a series of trades throughout 2026, including a purchase of 41,904 shares on May 11, 2026, valued at approximately $5.5 million.

The firm's trading activity is largely driven by rebalancing requirements, as Ark maintains a policy that no single holding should exceed roughly 10% of its fund. Around the time of the May 11 purchase, Circle represented 4.6% of the ARKK ETF, ranking as its sixth-largest holding.

Circle recently reported $694 million in revenue for the first quarter of 2026, marking a 20% year-over-year increase. During the same period, the circulation of USDC grew by 28% to reach $77 billion. The company also announced a $222 million presale for its new ARC token.

The presale for the ARC token, associated with the new Arc blockchain, attracted participation from major investors including a16z crypto and BlackRock. Circle has been publicly traded on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker CRCL since June 2025.
