Aptos has launched a suite of AI tools designed to help coding assistants learn the Move programming language directly from its documentation. This initiative aims to simplify development by eliminating the need for manual copy-pasting of technical information.
The core of the new toolkit is the Aptos Model Context Protocol (MCP) server, updated on October 9, 2026. It allows AI tools to query on-chain data and interact with Aptos APIs using natural language, as well as support project scaffolding via a single npx command.
The release also includes standardized LLMs.txt feeds in full and condensed versions to improve the machine-readability of documentation. Additionally, Aptos Agent Skills, updated on September 14, 2026, assist with writing secure Move V2 contracts, performing security audits, and generating tests.
These tools build upon previous efforts, including a 2024 partnership with FLock.io. The Move language itself focuses on resource safety and formal verification, ensuring that digital assets cannot be accidentally deleted or copied.
