Apple has updated its 2026 Back to School promotion, which now runs until September 24. Following the recent autumn product launch, the company replaced the AirPods 4 with the new AirPods 5 as an optional accessory for eligible Mac and iPad purchases.

Customers shopping through the Apple Education Store can receive a four-pack of AirTags valued at ¥849. Alternatively, they can apply this credit toward the purchase of AirPods 5. The standard version requires an additional payment of ¥150, while the model with a wireless charging case costs an extra ¥550.

The promotion, which began on July 16, was originally scheduled to conclude on August 27 but was extended. Certain devices, including MacBook Neo, iPad mini, entry-level iPads, and all desktop Mac models, are excluded from the offer.

The standalone retail price for the standard AirPods 5 is ¥999, and the wireless charging case version is priced at ¥1199. The new earbuds offer up to 50% better noise cancellation compared to the previous generation and provide up to 5 hours of playback time with active noise cancellation enabled.
