Apple has updated its backend systems by adding 37 new hardware identifiers. These codes span across several product lines, including iPhone, Mac, iPad, Apple Watch, Apple TV, and various home accessories. The discovery was shared by Aaron Perris on the X platform on September 9.

Among the new identifiers, seven are specifically linked to the iPhone series, labeled from iPhone19,1 to iPhone19,7. While industry rumors suggest the upcoming lineup may include models like the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and a potential foldable device, the total count of rumored models currently stands at six.

The discrepancy between the seven identifiers and the six rumored models remains unexplained. Analysts suggest that the additional identifier could represent specific regional variants, unique communication specifications, or other hardware modifications within the product range.

Beyond the smartphone category, the new identifiers align with reports regarding future Apple hardware. These include updates to the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, a new Apple TV, a smart home hub, iMac and MacBook Pro models featuring the M6 chip, and an iPad mini equipped with an OLED display.
