In a recent interview with Time magazine, Apple CEO John Ternus reaffirmed that design remains the company's core priority. Ternus, who joined Apple 25 years ago as a product designer, emphasized that the firm will continue to focus on creating user-centric products regardless of shifting industry trends.
Ternus highlighted that Apple's competitive edge stems from the deep integration between hardware and software teams, where engineers and designers share a mutual understanding of each other's work. This collaborative approach is intended to ensure that products remain both functional and innovative.
Regarding the upcoming release of the iPhone Duo, Apple has positioned the device as a blend of practicality and creative design. The company reports high demand for the new model, with the first units scheduled for delivery on October 23. Current order fulfillment for new requests is estimated to extend until late January 2027.
When asked about the company's stance on artificial intelligence, Ternus noted that Apple does not intend to chase technology trends simply for the sake of novelty. Instead, the company plans to maintain its focus on usability, security, and the practical value of its products in everyday life.
