Apple has announced upcoming usage limits for its Apple Intelligence cloud-based features. Users may face temporary service interruptions once these thresholds are reached, with some functions requiring paid subscriptions to expand capacity.

The restrictions will apply to image editing tools, Siri AI cloud functions, the Image Playground generator, and requests to AFM 3 Cloud and AFM 3 Cloud Pro models. Limits are determined by request complexity, system load, and specific policies.

For Home app video summaries, access depends on iCloud+ plans. The 2 TB tier supports one camera, the 6 TB tier allows up to two, and the 12 TB tier covers up to five cameras. Apple notes these conditions may change over time.

The company reserves the right to restrict, slow down, or suspend access in cases of excessive, automated, or improper usage. Apple will define these violations based on frequency, volume, and the nature of the requests made by users.
