Anthropic plans to hold its initial public offering in November 2026. The company aims to present its third-quarter financial results to investors before the listing to demonstrate the competitiveness of its AI models against OpenAI's Astra.
The startup intends to raise approximately $100 billion through the IPO and targets a valuation of $2 trillion. These figures would surpass the records set by xAI in June. Anthropic is scheduled to hold meetings with investors in the coming days to gauge interest.
Analysts and investors project that Anthropic's annualized revenue will exceed $100 billion by the end of 2026. This figure reached $65 billion in July 2026, up from $9 billion at the end of 2025. Some estimates suggest the annual revenue could reach $110 billion.
CEO Dario Amodei has publicly supported slowing the development of new AI models and implementing independent safety audits. While some investors express concern that OpenAI's capital-raising activities might divert funding, others believe these safety initiatives will not dampen interest in the IPO.
