Anthropic has adjusted its timeline for an initial public offering, with active preparations now scheduled for mid-October. The company aims to complete its market debut before the US parliamentary elections in November. The official investor prospectus is expected to be released by the end of September, though this schedule remains subject to change.
The company targets a valuation of $2 trillion, aiming to surpass the record set by SpaceX. Before the IPO, Anthropic plans to secure a revolving credit line of $15 billion. The firm is working with Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan, and Citi to manage the process and coordinate upcoming meetings with analysts and investors.
SpaceX, a key competitor, achieved a valuation of $1.77 trillion during its market debut in June. Meanwhile, OpenAI is reportedly planning its own IPO for next year. Anthropic intends to exceed the financial benchmarks established by its peers as it prepares for its entry into the public market.
