Anthropic has received a BB+ credit rating from KBRA, placing the company just below investment grade. This rating coincides with plans by Wall Street banks to organize a financing package totaling $60 billion. The capital is designated for the development of AI chips in collaboration with Google and Broadcom.
In addition to the primary financing, the company may utilize up to $42 billion in convertible notes. These funds are intended to support the company's chip leasing operations. These financial moves follow a recent valuation of Anthropic at $965 billion, which exceeds the valuation of its competitor, OpenAI.
