Anthropic plans to reach 10 gigawatts of compute capacity by the end of 2027, marking a sevenfold increase from the 1.4 gigawatts available at the end of 2025. The company expects its compute footprint to hit 5 gigawatts by the end of 2026.

The expansion relies on partnerships with Google, Broadcom, AWS, and AMD. In April 2026, Anthropic secured 3.5 gigawatts of TPU capacity from Google and Broadcom. Agreements with AWS cover 5 gigawatts of Trainium chips, while the AMD collaboration provides 2 gigawatts of MI450 GPUs.

The company is also developing physical infrastructure, including a 2.16 gigawatt data center campus in Australia set to launch in 2027. Additionally, Anthropic signed a contract with Nscale for 460 megawatts of capacity, valued at $45 billion over six years.

Financial performance has grown significantly, with the annualized revenue run-rate exceeding $30 billion as of April 2026, compared to $9 billion at the end of 2025. The company currently serves over 1,000 customers spending at least $1 million annually.
