Anthropic has launched the Claude Frontier Academy, an initiative backed by $100 million to train 10,000 enterprise AI engineers by the end of 2027. The program aims to address the human bottleneck in AI integration by teaching external specialists the same deployment methods used by Anthropic's internal teams.

The training curriculum, modeled after medical residencies, consists of three phases: in-person training, simulated enterprise deployments, and a 12-week residency where engineers lead real-world projects. Participants will earn professional credentials, with the first badges expected to be issued in early 2027.

Major global firms, including Accenture, Deloitte, McKinsey, and Morgan Stanley, have already begun nominating engineers for the program. Accenture plans to leverage the Academy's resources to train approximately 30,000 of its own professionals on the Claude platform.

This initiative follows the March 2026 launch of the Claude Partner Network, which also received a $100 million investment. While the earlier network focused on corporate partnerships, the new Academy targets individual skill development and structured certification paths.
