Anthropic is preparing for an initial public offering, with current plans targeting a launch before the Thanksgiving holiday. While the company filed for an IPO confidentially on June 1, the timeline remains subject to market conditions and internal adjustments. Investors anticipate a valuation for the firm ranging between $1,8 trillion and $2 trillion.
Financial disclosures reveal significant growth alongside substantial losses. Last year, the company generated nearly $4,6 billion in revenue, marking a 12-fold increase. However, it reported a net loss of $42 billion and an operating loss exceeding $8 billion. Future projections indicate planned spending of $518 billion on cloud, computing, and infrastructure.
The company is establishing a Founder LLC vehicle to maintain control over its mission. This entity will be managed by the seven co-founders. A single share of Class F stock will grant 50,1 percent of total voting power on corporate matters, including board elections. Decisions regarding this share will be determined by a majority vote among the seven co-founders.
