Anthropic reported Q3 2026 revenue of $16.8 billion, alongside an adjusted gross margin of 85%. The company disclosed these figures during an investor briefing held in mid-October 2026.

The AI firm currently serves over 11,900 customers who spend at least $100,000 annually, representing a sevenfold increase over the past year. Additionally, more than 500 clients contribute over $1 million each year, and the company holds contracts with eight of the Fortune 10 corporations.

Anthropic reported a net revenue retention (NRR) of approximately 900%. The company’s total business customer base exceeds 300,000, though YipitData indicates that the top 1% of clients generate nearly half of its B2B revenue.

The company utilizes a usage-based pricing model, where costs are determined by the number of tokens processed via API. Independent data shows customer retention rates of 87% after 12 months and 95% after 24 months.

These financial metrics are being shared as the company reportedly prepares for a potential initial public offering. While revenue has grown, the concentration of income among a small percentage of clients remains a factor for the business.
