Angara MTDR has launched a new service for third-party risk assessment based on its Angara ECHO digital footprint management platform. The solution is designed for information security, risk management, and procurement departments to evaluate potential and existing partners.

The service combines automated data collection with expert analysis to identify digital threats. It monitors public and dark web sources, leak databases, Telegram channels, code repositories, and internal documentation to detect signs of compromise or data exposure.

According to Angara MTDR research, nearly 19% of fraudulent techniques involve compromising trusted relationships with contractors. Small IT firms often lack basic cybersecurity hygiene, making them vulnerable entry points for attackers to access client infrastructure.

Clients receive a detailed report containing identified threats, risk assessments, and mitigation recommendations. The service does not perform internal security audits or penetration testing, and it does not collect or transfer personal data of the contractor's employees.
