San Francisco-based developer platform Ampersand has secured $15 million in a Series A funding round. The investment was led by Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors Matrix and Flex Capital, as well as new backers Yelp and Mana Ventures.
Founded in 2022, the startup now reports a total funding amount between approximately $19.7 million and $20.7 million. This follows a $4.7 million seed round led by Matrix in April 2023.
Ampersand develops infrastructure designed to enable AI agents to perform read and write operations within enterprise software, including Salesforce and NetSuite. The platform focuses on deep integrations that account for custom configurations in legacy systems.
Concurrent with the funding announcement, the company launched the beta version of Andi, an AI integration agent. This tool is intended to assist developers in managing customer-specific implementation and data synchronization tasks.
