The upcoming Amazfit T-Rex Dual Solar smartwatch features a dual-sided solar charging system with photovoltaic elements on both the front and back of the casing. Under ideal conditions, this technology is expected to provide up to 180 days of battery life. Without solar assistance, the device is projected to last approximately 25 days under standard usage, or up to 40 days when using GPS tracking once per hour.
The device is built with a titanium alloy body and a sapphire crystal screen cover. It includes a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 3000 nits and physical control buttons. The watch is designed for extreme environments, with an operating temperature range between -30 and 70 degrees Celsius. Additional hardware includes a built-in LED flashlight.
For navigation, the watch supports six satellite systems and provides offline map viewing directly on the display. Health and environmental monitoring features include heart rate tracking, SpO2 measurement, workout logging, weather forecasting, and atmospheric pressure alerts. The specifications were briefly listed on an Spanish retail website before being removed.
