Amazfit has launched the T-Rex Dual Solar rugged smartwatch in Europe, following its initial release in the US. The device is now available through the company's official online store for €650.
The watch features a unique dual solar panel design. One panel is integrated into the display, while a second, larger panel is located under a glass-ceramic cover on the back of the case.
The 660 mAh battery provides up to 25 days of operation without solar charging. Daily three-hour exposure to sunlight on the front panel extends this to 34 days, while using the rear panel increases it to 51 days.
The hardware includes a titanium bezel, sapphire glass, and a 1.32-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels and 3000 nits peak brightness. The casing is water-resistant up to 10 ATM.
The device tracks heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and skin temperature, supporting over 180 workout modes. It also includes GPS, NFC, a speaker, and microphones for communication and navigation.
The LiveShare function enables users to transmit real-time location, distance, pace, and heart rate data to selected contacts, which is designed for outdoor activities and hiking.
