Amap has officially launched a new voice navigation pack featuring Zhang Xue, the founder of the Zhang Xue motorcycle brand. The update includes a significant safety enhancement for motorcycle navigation, integrating the Eagle Eye warning system to cover 21 distinct riding risk scenarios, such as oncoming traffic on curves, sudden braking by vehicles ahead, and overtaking maneuvers.
The voice pack provides real-time safety reminders based on the Eagle Eye system, warning riders about lane discipline, speed limits, and potential obstacles. Zhang Xue, who has achieved six stage victories and two third-place finishes in the WSBK-SSP championship with the 820RR model, emphasizes that safety remains a priority over racing performance.
As part of the collaboration, Amap is offering a free 3D digital vehicle icon modeled after the 820RR racing motorcycle. This feature is available to all users, including those navigating by car, bicycle, or on foot, allowing them to customize their navigation interface with the championship-winning bike design.
